Diagnose Internet speed in Morocco
Start by separating the access line from the home Wi-Fi. For ADSL, record the line rate reported by your router alongside the measured speed. For fiber, check Ethernet link speed before concluding that the provider is slow.
- Use the same device for a Wi-Fi test near the router and an Ethernet test.
- On ADSL, compare measured download with the router line rate; the two numbers need not match exactly.
- For mobile data, turn Wi-Fi off and test only when you have enough data allowance.
- Compare browser ping with latency inside your game, since regional routing and game-server location can differ.
The complete test can use about 191 MB. Measurement transfers begin only after you click Start. A single result is not a ranking of providers.
